Started manufacturing bleaching powder by the LEBLANC'S method in Kozaika, Wakayama City.

Started manufacturing sulfuric acid by nitric acid method in Minato,

Started manufacturing caustic soda and chlorides by Nelson-electrolysis method in Kozaika, Wakayama City.

Established Tosa Ryuso Co.,Ltd.

Renamed Nankai Chemical Co.,Ltd.

Amalgamated with Nakayama Steelworks, Ltd.

 1951

Established as Nankai Chemical Co., Ltd., with capital stock of 15,000,000 yen.

Started manufacturing sulfuric acid by the burning of waste sulfuric acid.

 1965

Started manufacturing high-test calcium hypochlorite at Tosa Factory.

 1985

Strengthened organization of research and development and started development of organic products.

 1986

Changed caustic soda manufacturing method at Wakayama Factory from existing mercury method to ion-exchange membrane method.

 1987

Started manufacturing organic chlorine compounds(intermediate products).

 1988

Changed existing sulfuric acid manufacturing method from existing nitric acid method to contact method.

 1990

Increased capital stock to 207,000,000 yen and established General Research Center.

 1994

Started manufacturing PAC water treatment agent at Aogishi Factory.

 1996

Renewed 60% of high-test calcium hypochlorite manufacturing equipment at Tosa Factory and newly established trichloro isocyanuric acid processing line.

 1997

Completed production line for TCCA basis.

 1998

Obtained ISO-9002 Certification at Head Office, Kozaika Factory and Aogishi Factory Established integrated production system for TCCA.

 1999

Obtained ISO-9002 Certification at Head Office and Tosa Factory.

 2000

Increased the capital to the amount of 303,000,000 yen. 

 

Obtained ISO-14001 Certification at Kozaika Factory and Aogishi Factory. 

 

Tokyo Office has been established. 

 

Manufacturing facility of poly iron sulfate has been newly installed.

 2002

Tosa Office is established. Production and sale of salt for general use begins. NM Salt Corporation is founded.

 

Head Office, Kozaika Factory, and Aogishi Factory are awarded upgraded ISO 9001 certifications.

 2003

Tosa Factory ISO 9001 is awarded upgraded ISO 9001 certification.

 

R&D section is spun off as Nankai Chemical R&D Co., Ltd.

Yamafuji Co., Ltd. becomes a subsidiary of Nankai Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd.

Polysilica iron (PSI) production equipment is installed at Aogishi Factory. 

 

Fukuoka Office is established.

Fuji Amide Chemical Co., Ltd. becomes a subsidiary of Nankai Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd.

Renamed Nankai Chemical Co,Ltd.

 

Environmental recycling section is spun off as NC Environmental Services Co Ltd

The commercial transactions are inherited from Fuji Amide Chemical Co.,Ltd.

fNankai Global Chemi Campany Limited(SPC) aquired all of stocks Nankai Chemical Co,Ltd ,which had been owned by Nakayama Steel Works,LTD

 

Sodium hydro sulfide production equipment is installed at Aogishi Factory. 

 

Nankai Chemical Co,Ltd. merged with Nankai Global Chemi Campany Limited
